The Rewrite, Finally it's Here · 4:03pm Jan 1st, 2022
As the title says, Coffee & Gunpowder's still alive, just under a different name now; Kaffein. I've done my best to improve my skills as a writer since I've posted Uncertain Bar Mates, so hopefully this story will fair better than its previous draft. I also wanted to make it a separate story so that the old one could still be read freely if anyone chooses to, even if it is a flaming pile of garbage. Thank you for being patient with me for those of you who are still sticking around.
Also, to quote my previous blog post:
Some plots will be cut out, some improved upon, and I'll try to straighten out the pacing. Basically I'm gonna try and make the story have more focus on the narrative. The rewrite will affect every chapter of the story, and some will be entirely cut out. Details will also be altered, so I suggest reading from the start when I'm done with it. The rewrite will happen in one go, meaning that I'll only be updating the story when everything is said and done. Which also translates to this project taking some time.
All of that is true, plus more. I did a lot of planning on where the story should go and what will happen, so it should be better focused now. Other than that, I still hate myself and even more so my writing, but I've grown to tolerate it a little bit better now. I'm also not gonna make promises for when new chapters are gonna come out. I'll post them when they're done, enough said.
