So I just watched episode 1 of Gen 5 of MLP. · 10:56am May 26th, 2022

Okay so I just gotta say, this was GREAT FIRST EPISODE! We got so much from this episode, like they gave us so many questions the characters and us want answers to omg, the lore we got in this episode is fucking great! Like crystals being powered by friendship and disrupted by conflict so fits the the theme of this being "Future post mane six" equestria!
It tells us that the writers haven't just went: "Lets throw GEN 4 out of the window and start over!" since they are still holding to the Gen 4 theme of "friendship is magic" and based on what we've seen, the statement is LITERAL since friendship is what powers the crystals.
Like after this episode I have so many questions I can't wait to learn the answers to! Like, are those crystals related to the tree of harmony? Maybe, combined the are the literal seed that will regrow it!(Lets just not have a castle sprout up this time around, eh hasbro?)
What was that void that opened up when disharmony went critical? Like, is it another dimension or something? A gateway to tartarus?
Why were the crystals separated to begin with? Was it a last ditch effort to save equestria before that void swallowed everypony and the whole world?!
And who the hell is this dark mare?! I didn't get a clear look at her but i think she was an Alicorn?! Descendant of Twilight Sparkle who fell into darkness maybe?!
Also, the perfect ponies we saw from the movie? GONE! This is a good thing believe it not! The series would of been boring if they were all mr and miss perfects!
Oh and the earth ponies were just jealious of the pegasus and unicorns, I mean, they stopped being jealous when they got their own little magic which is still petty but oh well.
Oh and I SWEAR TO GOD, HITCH IS A DESCENDANT OF FLUTTERSHY! THIS HAS TO BE CANNON! CUZ HE CAN TALK TO ANIMALS BY THE END OF THE EPISODE! Oh and one more thing: 
NEW BABY DRAGON! HYPE!
Eh. I'm still not feeling it but aye glad people are enjoying it
