So, what was it like?
Not bad, but not too great, either.
What do I mean by that?
We went hunting.
How is that bad/great/whatever?
Our trip got cut short. Before we even made it to the campground. I was supposed to be back sometime yesterday afternoon, but ended up back about halfway through Saturday.
What happened?
Our truck broke down.
What's wrong with it?
Transmission is shot.
What's the diagnosis?
Over heated, then the gears got ground trying to get it somewhere we could stay for a little while.
Can it be fixed?
Most anything can be fixed with enough time, effort, and the right parts and tools.
How is it being fixed?
Either we're rebuilding the transmission, or we're getting a new one.
Which is it?
Jury's still out on that one. My mechanic (AKA my dad) is currently trying to take it apart to see.
What about your stories?
My Little Warehouse 13 is still in progress. I need to go in and fix the stuff I typed on my phone most recently. I am starting to hit a block with chapter 2, but I'm going to try and convince a friend to act as a sounding board for a little while.
I'm currently working on Eyes of a Stranger. I'm debating on chapter 2 or part 2 at the moment, but it's looking like I'm going with part 2 as a separate story. I noticed that about five ponies have given this a thumbs down. I don't mind. I know I'm not a great author. The one thumbs up on it is nice as it means I managed to entertain somepony to a degree, and I did the job I set out to do with this and told a story somepony liked.
A Pony's Journal is currently still in the development hell it exists in. Not a major priority.
There has been no change on A Kender Tale since the last I worked on it, beside maybe a little work on some ideas for it.
I've written a little more to Vampire Equestria on my phone, as well as a little more world building. This one is probably the most complex of my projects in that regard.
Now that I think of it, I need to go and edit the next chapter of The Sixth Race sometime soon.
