Happy Disability Pride Month and Update · 12:11pm Jul 30th, 2022
I don't have servere disability, just fatigue and dizziness from anemia, hearing loss/APD (in the diagnosing process). That being said, I've been meaning to make this for a while.
You're not being lazy.
You're not faking it for attention.
You're not just trying to be "quirky."
You are loved.
You matter.
You deserve to have your condition be recognized and properly accomodated where required.
You deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
Above all, you're a human being just like the rest of us. Keep on rocking on! (I would add more, but I'm tired and have a flight to catch tomorrow.)
Now, for the update. As you may know, I'm in India visiting family. It's been a ride, and I will miss them dearly, but we're going back to the US. This also means I won't be on here as often (maybe I'll hop on once a week).
HOWEVER! I am in the process of editing a few fics. I will continue doing that via. my school computer (which I won't get until August 4th and won't be able to use for atleast a week after that). Having that also makes it easier for me to write. Knowing that, I've signed up for a contest and have a few stories planned out and one half-written. So all these months of me saying that I'll write something will finally have some result. I can promise you that my writing on a computer is much better than on a tablet, so if you think I use too many 'and's (I do lol) it won't be as apparent when I'm writing on a computer as I'm able to articulate my thoughts better while typing. I think one of them will be done next month (don't take my word on that) so in the meantime, here's some cute fanart:
