Twilight's Dawn update

So, normally I am a lot better at blog posts than this and would normally publish one right before each chapter, but you all can see how that worked out, this being only the second blog about the story while I've written quite a few more chapters than that.

Anyway, I hope everyone has been enjoying the story thus far, the next chapter (which is currently being written, it's taken me a while as life sorta t-boned me with various obligations and all the fun adulty things) and will feature the city of Gladsheim! Which, if anyone here knows their Halo lore you know it's going to be an absolute, unrepentant, unrelenting Clusterfuck of a good time! But while writing it, I've realized I wanted to put a little more of a Viking sort of character into the story, so I am going to sorta do a crossover in a crossover and drag a character from yet another video game I actually adore, even if I do not adore the company that made it.

I won't say who, but I will say it's time to find out if Covenant shields and armor are throwing axe proof! And Twi's and her friends are going to need the help!

All that said, this chapter is likely going to go a bit longer than the others, as unlike the last chapter actual combat is going to happen, and Twilight's analytical mind is going to have to make sense of all the chaos around her. Not to mention having to come face to face with a portent of the future and all it's horrors this war with the Covenant will bring at the same time the UNSC is.

Because in the end, nothing can ever prepare you for your first glassing.

Anyway, I'm going to get back to it! I hope to have this next chapter out soon!
