Did anyone actually ask for this?

So apparently Playtonic is remastering Yooka-Laylee.

Who asked for this? Who thought this was a good idea?

    A few things, Playtonic:

    1. This game is only seven years old.

Will try and get an update or two out soon, but...

...These next two weeks at work are going to be stressful as hell.

I just have to say one thing, just to get it off my chest.

If any of my readers are private health inspectors with standards higher than local laws, I just have this to say:

    That is all.

    Good night.

    Tell Your Tale: P + P = BFFs

This week, we've got a... Somewhat touching Posey episode?

Think this would benefit from a longer runtime. I also laughed harder than necessary at Izzy in the very beginning.

Every time a new Need For Speed game is announced, I find myself going back to the one game they've been unable to top. It'll be turning 17 years old next month.

Got it heavily modded and running in 4k now. This is gonna be good.

Only Need for Speeds I ever bought were Hot Pursuit (1 and 2)
Not a big driving game fan but I enjoyed those, mostly.

Hot Pursuit 2 was my first NFS game, then of course Underground 1 and 2 came out right alongside the car culture craze that Fast and Furious was reviving.

Most Wanted 2005 is hotly debated to be the best game in the franchise. Cheesy minimal story (awesome if you like campy), decent controls (for 2005), and the most action-packed pursuits where you could actually fight back (not like recent games where your car has a health bar). The only way they bust you is if you run a spike strip or if numerous patrol cruisers (from Crown Vics all the way up to Corvette ZO6's) swarm you and you can't get away.

Sounds like someone wants to play their favorite Need for Speed for Extra Life.

It says a lot about current games when old ones hold up better.

That's happening more and more.

Nothing beats Carbon for me. Customization, fun story, great cars, and so much fun breaking cops.

That one might be next for me.

Need for Speed Underground is my thing. Haven’t been able to play in years
