So after almost five years of living with cancer, I got told on Sep. 29th that there was a spot on one of my MRIs which was 'probably nothing'. Then they told me I had three tumors on my brain and said zapping them individually would be easy.
Then they woke me up with a phone call on Oct. 3 (my 40th birthday) and told me there were fourteen 'nothings' and I'd have to go 30 miles to Nashville where there was a better tumor-zapping machine.
It seems my old cancer drug didn't pass through the blood-brain barrier and now I have twenty-four little tumors on my brain (oh, yes, after a second evaluation, they found ten more). So, as soon as they sort things out, they're going fry the whole thing and serve it with butter sauce and a lime to squeeze on the side. At least they'll do it here in Purgatorio.
Rather than being scared, I'd really like them to hurry up and get it over with so my bouts of headaches and dizziness will finally stop. Fortunately, the tumors were caught early enough that they aren't causing any severe damage or pressure, but they're still irritating. It's like all the little symptoms I ignored before got worse now that I know why I have them!
Remember to visit your doctor regularly like I didn't, five years ago, so if that you have something wrong with you it can get taken care of.
Health encompasses not only physical well-being but also mental and emotional vitality. It's about nourishing the body with nutritious foods, staying active, and nurturing relationships. However, access to quality healthcare is a crucial aspect. For some, concerns like the juvederm price though seemingly cosmetic, can impact their sense of well-being. Affordability shouldn't hinder individuals from seeking necessary treatments. Health is a balance of preventive care, timely interventions, and holistic support systems. It's about addressing concerns, whether they're related to skincare or deeper health issues, ensuring everyone can pursue a fulfilling and healthy life.
