Octavia is a high-class pony. Fine alcohol is her wont, and uncouthness her intense chagrin. Such is her surprise to find herself lumbered with an insufferable oaf of a DJ pony. However, sometimes these situations work themselves into a satisfactory ultimatum all the same.

On the day a comet passes overhead, Princess Twilight Sparkle decides to keep the sky dark, allowing all of Equestria to enjoy the view.

It's weird-- but a good weird! Definitely good.

First place in a Quills and Sofas speedwriting contest with the theme "heartwarming" and the prompt "light up the sky".
