Spike considers himself to be a strong individual. Healthy, happy, but most importantly, sober.

Unfortunately for him, that changes during a night time Summer festival courtesy of Pinkie Pie. After a few dances and spiked drinks from Ponyville's delinquent Berry Punch, Spike finds himself getting drunk....by accident of course. And before he realizes what had happened, he finds himself in his room the next morning sleeping on top of Griffonstone's newest resident baker Gilda Gruff.

Spike will soon see if he is to come out of this situation beaten to a bloody pulp, or come out with a new special somepony to share his feelings with.

Babs Seed made bad decisions in the ring and took the punishment for it. Having no job, a terrible reputation and a bitter outlook on life decides to exploit a stallion who has been taken for all he's worth; Button Mash. He's lanky, very competitive, has been shattered by his ex-girlfriend's actions, his dreams closed on him, and he's dirt poor.

Having been forced to move back to Manehattan, the cowardly stallion is given a chance on a new life, albeit a very violent one for his tastes. Can he overcome fear and face the stallion across him without crying for mercy, or will he return to his life as a no-life loser with nothing going for him?

Babs Seed hopes for the former.

After Spike learns how Rarity feels, he is angry, upset and feels used. Spike feels like he can't fully open up to anyone about what happened. After having a dream where he spoke to Princess Luna, he ends up going to Canterlot to see her, as he remembered that Luna has helped him in the past. He needed to talk to someone and get it off his chest. After speaking with Luna and spending a few days in Canterlot with Luna, Spike starts to see the Princess of the night in a different light. Does this mean that he is over Rarity? Is this connection a strong friendship or something more?
