As a school assignment, Applebloom has to write down a story of what was her fondest memories of her mom and dad, the problem of that is that Applebloom doesn't remember her parents. She doesn't remember anything about them.

So, she decides to consult with the ponies who does remember.

The birth of cinema created multiple additional industries, along with inspiring a fleet of new marks. In particular, there's a need for sound design, and Foley Artist stands ready to bring the natural beats of the outside world into the enclosed studios. And when a recording session for Canterlot's streets just happens to record the most distinctive scream ever... well, what kind of pony would Foley be if he didn't share it with the entire planet? After all, sound belongs to the people.

To the people. Not to a person. That would just be silly.

But that scream has a source. A fast-approaching, very unhappy source. And she has so many more sounds to share...

Sunset Shimmer returns to Equestria only to discover everypony she knew is now ancient history.

Amanda was never a very popular girl. She was always too strange, too eccentric, and her obsession with a TV show from years ago certainly didn't help. She lived a fairly bland, lonely life, but she never would have said she was unhappy if you asked her.

That all changes when she wakes up to find herself transported into that very TV show. And she's not just in Equestria; She's at the start of it all, the very first episode. Knowing she can't afford to let the opportunity pass, she leaps into action, ready to join the adventure and help the Mane 6 along their journey!

Things rarely go so neatly, though, and before she can even meet Twilight, she runs into a pony who, by all accounts, shouldn't be there. Trixie is in Ponyville, and she can't believe what she's hearing. The story is just too unbelievable.

How could she be a villain?

Sucked into a reluctant alliance, Amanda—now a pony going by Starfall Sage—must try to steer Trixie towards a good ending, but as she'll discover, that's a lot easier said than done.

It was a week before Nightmare Night, when Rarity decided to take a trip to Canterlot.

And while there, she meets a sweet, classy mare with a prismatic mane, and a habit of saying "Darling". But there's something about her that she finds just too familiar.

And as she'll learn, maybe there's more to this familiarity than meets the eye.

Less than 24 hours live and this story has set three milestones for me. This is the first time I've had a story of mine be top of the Featured list, the first time I've had a story of mine get over 100 Likes, and the first time that a story of mine has reached over 1,000 views.
