After saving his captain from an enemy captain, Roronoa Zoro wakes up to find himself as a colorful talking horse in a world filled with other colorful talking horses, unicorns and pegasus. What will the deadly and serious Straw Hat swordsman do in a world of happiness, friendship, singing and non-killing? After sealing himself within the library Atlair is left with only himself, and his thoughts. As his vision fades his mind wanders throughout his memories. Although he has few regrets, and experienced tragedies no man should go though he has strived to live and serve. He is not proud to have ended the lives of his fellow man, but for the sake of the innocent his creed pushed him to serve the innocent and protect The Holy Land from invaders.

Life slowly fleeing from him, warmth long ago abandoned him, weakened and weary his breaths are dwindling. Grasping the Memory Seal he makes his last prayer before his grip on the slate is lost. Blinded by the coming fog he silently awaits the embrace of death, but at his final hour the mystical artefact glows. And from the glow a power of unknown proportion is activated, and released. Unknowingly Altair is transported from his library and awakens in a whole new world.

The power of the artefact has mystically changed the Master from a dying old man to a healthy younger pony. Quickly adapting to his new body he explores, and operates among the people in secret. At first glance it seems that the skills that Altair has obtained throughout his years will not be needed in the peaceful Kingdom, but as he continues his investigation he slowly uncovers that greed, and corruption is within the hearts of a select few Ponies in power. Without anyone else knowing the truth he embarks on a secret crusade against the corrupted branches of Society and The Government.

With little to no allies, and many enemies it all seems impossible, but his will prevails.

My name is North Star. I'm a Time Lord.

I don't know how , but I'm know I'm not where I should be.

I should be in Everfree. Instead, I'm in a little town I've never heard of, and there's a princess I've never met.

On top of all of that... I don't even recognize the pony I see in the mirror.

This story will not be continued. I don't feel any real connection to the character anymore, and have decided to start fresh. My appreciation goes out to all those who have read and commented on it.

The past couple of years had definitely not been what Braeburn Apple had expected, he has found the love of his life but what no one expected was that it would be Soarin of the wonder bolts. Equestria. A nation emerging from a brutal war. 13 Districts of the land previously stood together, hoof in hoof, and rose up against the Capitol that had ruled in tyranny for so long. On fought the Earth Ponies, the Pegasi, the Unicorns, and the Alicorns. But one District was destroyed, and the Alicorns were no more, leaving the remaining districts to mourn their losses, and face the Capitol. Then, during the darkest hour, a truce was offered, and a treaty was signed.

"The races of Equestria chose to rise against the Capitol that had cared for them. In penance for their uprising, each district shall offer up a Stallion and a Mare between the ages of 12 and 18 at a public "reaping". These tributes shall be delivered to the custody of the Capitol. And then transferred to a public arena, where they will fight to the death until a lone victor remains. Henceforth and forevermore this pageant shall be known as The Equestria Games."

The original Hunger Games trilogy takes place at the time of the 74th games. This story goes all the way back, back to the time of an Equestria fresh out of a horrific war. The peace treaty has been signed, and the games set to go ahead. The tributes involved face a daunting task: to compete in a brutal fight to the death in the very first Equestria Games.

While dealing with post traumatic stress brought on by the events surrounding his wedding, Shining armor is awoken in the middle of the night by a call requesting his presence. An unmasked changeling has appeared at the gates to Canterlot requesting to speak with Shining armor, and he's not speaking to anypony else. What does he want? And is there something sinister behind this, or is it all in Shining's head?

Authors note: The story will be more of the interaction between Shining Armour and Flash Sentry and the bromance that doesn't blossom. I wrote this story solely because I really liked the idea of military ponies but didn't want to make an OC.

Flash sentry was a Pegasus royal guard with a lot going for him. He was working his way up the ranks as a prominent soldier, and was the rising star amongst his peers. After a mistake in battle causes Flash to question his abilities as a soldier, Captain Shining Armour reassigns him to castle guard duty in Canterlot.
During the captain’s royal wedding, Flash catches a glimpse of a purple unicorn mare. Months later, fate steps in and he meets her properly for the first time. When they start dating, it seems he had finally made a right decision… until Flash finds out who her older brother is.
