Surrounded by the Everfree Forest, filled with delinquents, devoid of morals and any real sources of magic, Ponyville is the worst place to live in all of Equestria. But it also has the cheapest rent and Twilight's life just collapsed to the point where she can't afford to live anywhere else.

Perhaps the only thing Twilight has going for her now is that Rarity, the most powerful pony in town, has taken a liking to her. Rarity is eloquent, but the leader of a gang. She's beautiful and intriguing, but the most irreverent and delinquent pony Twilight has ever met. Rumors swirl around her. Some ponies even say she and her entire gang are all vampires.

But Twilight is smart enough to not give in to temptations. Or join a gang. Or become a vampire.

One of the positive things about being enlisted in the Solar Guard is all the mares Rainbow Dash could possibly chase after.

A negative? The one she's really after is in the Lunar Guard, and she's pretty… batty.

It is another Summer Sun Celebration that goes surprisingly well for Celestia. That is until, an unexpected visitor is brought to the throne room, and expresses what the celebration should represent.

It is no secret that Princess Luna has been a bit irritated lately. That may all change when she discovers a group of strange ponies while out Dreamwalking. Strange ponies, with leathery wings, fangs, slitted pupils, fur-tufted ears, and a strange fondness for fruit. These are they who become her confidants, her allies, her warriors... her friends. These, the Soldiers of the Night.

Stella born and raised in Cloudsdale, she belongs to a fairly rich family. She has been waited on her how life. She decides to go to school and work part-time. Dealing with the stress that she put herself into, also making friends who are not her brother. Stella becomes a batpony to forge her own I.D. so she could live life how she wanted to live.

With that in mind, Captain Shappi Nieda, leader of Princess Luna's Royal Nightwatch, isn't happy when she discovers the Royal Guard have appeared to dump a large number of deadweight recruits on her unit. When going to have choice words with their captain, she discovers a different unicorn whom she finds much more interesting...

Meet Level Ledger, your average, well-read unicorn colt. He has a talent with numbers and systems, which is why Pegasus Air was so interested in acquiring his talents. They use him to make sure their books are balanced. Both the legal ones...and the ones that'll never see the light of day.

Meet Midnight Song, your not-average, well-trained Thestral mare. Everything she sets out to do, she accomplishes with aplomb. When she rises a little too quickly through the Day Guard's ranks, her superiors decide she needs to cool off and learn a bit about how to be a mature member of the Guard. Not a bad idea, seeing as she's a massive flirt.

When Level's rent goes up, he needs to take a roommate or risk being thrown out into the street. A twist of fate will see these two souls coming together and having the time of their lives.

Now, if only one of them could tell the truth to save their life...

A collab fic worked on by myself and Ausbrony. We liked the setting of Las Pegasus and the villains of Pegasus Air a lot, so we put our heads and characters together, and this came from our efforts.

In lieu of a list of dates, I will simply say that this story tends to get featured every time I update it for a short while at least. And I am very happy about that fact.~
