Well... it's over. After twenty-eight amazing, impactful and beautiful episodes, the first season of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End has come to a close. I don't have much to say, because I don't believe there is much I need to say at all for this masterpiece - this gem of an anime. I'm not going to lie, I got an ache in my heart when it finally finished the first season. I guess part of me still wanted it to go on even though I knew it had to end somewhere. Either way, I'm glad that it ended on such a wonderful note, and I'm even gladder that I decided to watch it in the first place. My only regret is that I didn't pick it up sooner when I had so many opportunities to. Goes to show you can't judge a book my its cover, am I right?

I can understand if this anime isn't up to everyone's tastes, but for me, it exceeded my expectations and, well... beyond. From the plot, to storyline, to characters and world building... I loved it all. Every single bit of it. So much love and care was put into it and I'm so happy with the execution and deliverance. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is without a doubt the best fantasy anime I have watched this year, and it is deserving of the love it gets. I will one hundred percent watch it again, and I am most definitely going to be exploring the manga, which I also should've done sooner. I don't know when the next season will be out, but you can bet your hooves I will be there, day one. This anime has been a true blessing and I will hold it forever close to my heart, now and well into the future.

Thank you Frieren... thank you. Until we meet again....

7955989 The manga is excellent. I suggest not skipping the stuff covered already in the anime.
