I feel like Applejack is a realist. She's practical. She calls things as she sees them.

Sometimes... People can't be friends. Some people don't mix well, like oil and water. Sometimes it's because one person is bad for the other. Maybe they're dangerous, maybe they're cruel, maybe they're just careless, and the have no interest in changing themselves for the better. Sometimes they're equally as bad for each other, or it could simply be a case that something doesn't click between two people and there are no strong feelings one way or the other. And that's... Okay. You don't have to be friends with everyone.
