So, I've got an idea for another OC, whose left eye has been replaced with a basilisk's eye. It gives them the powers of a basilisk, but the powers are limited to petrifying people. Even if he makes direct eye contact with the target, he can't kill people. But here's the part I'm having a bit of trouble with, should he be an Auror or a Dark Wizard? I feel he can use his eye for good or evil, as an Auror, he could use it to petrify criminals in order to easily arrest them, and as a Dark Wizard, he could use it to leave his enemies defenseless and easier to kill. Do you think he should be an Auror or a Dark Wizard? I do plan on making him a parcelmouth.
