I've heard that this is technically a pilot episode for a proposed new series that could air on Cartoon Network if it gets enough support.
I don't know about you, but I'll take this over Teen Titans Go and the PPG reboot any day.

This looks like a combination of Doctor Who and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I hope it airs on Cartoon Network because it looks like it will be a really good cartoon.
