What is Braeburn x Little Strongheart (HeartBurn) Prompt Tag? It's a game, and here's how you play it:

Someone starts off by posting a 100-500 word mini-fic about Braeburn and Strongheart. At the end will be a one word prompt. If you would like to write a 100-500 word HeartBurn mini-fic relating to that prompt within the next four hours, comment right away to claim that prompt. Post the story when you finish, and add a one word prompt at the end for the next people to claim.

Simple enough?

Just to make sure everything is clear:

* The mini-fic can be in any style, any tag, AU, humanized, whatever. It can be a cute scene, a snippet of conversation, or an excerpt from an Equestrian history book. It's not expected to be preread or proofread, and if you've never written before that's just fine. Just try to keep it rated teen or lower and make sure it's 100-500 words of fiction about Fluttershy and Dash and it relates somehow to the prompt you claimed.

* Claim prompts with a quick post responding to the last post. Just the word "claimed" is fine. When you finish, make a post with the mini-fic and the next prompt.

* Your claim is valid for four hours, to keep someone from accidentally holding things up all day. After four hours, another person could post a claim for the same prompt. If you ran out of time, and no one else has claimed it, and you still want to write it, just go ahead and reclaim it.

* In the event that people become confused, and two fics are posted for the same prompt, the first one posted contains the official next prompt.

* Please include a one word prompt at the end of your fic. There are lots of words, and they can mean lots of things, and it's up to the next writer what they want to do with it.

*Be creative and more importantly have fun!

The first prompt is: Traditions

Claimed Traditions

"Heart, do I really have to?" Braeburn complained.

"Yes you do! If you want the rain to come, why don't you do it my way?" reasoned Little Strongheart and slightly blushed at Braeburn's nickname for her.

"But it so... well guys don't dance in dresses while screaming. Oh that didn't come out right um I'm uh what I am saying is its not wrong to do that! It's just not what I do! Besides we haven't tried our ways of getting the rain to come yet!" frantically trying to explain. However Little Strongheart did not quite understood.

"Oh I see, your ways are far better than mine! Ever since we dated, I did all of the stuff you normally do! Even though I don't agree with dancing in hard shoes and fancy dress, I still did it anyway! For you. Now that I am asking you to do something with me that is MY tradition you say no...I thought you were different Braeburn... but now I see that you are the same as everypony else." sniffed Little Strongheart.
Braeburn huffed at the conflict he made by voicing his opinion.

"It's not like that and you know it! It's just I am used to using my traditions and not somepony else's. I find it hard to believe that dancing and screaming will make it rain... I don't want to be made to look like a foal." Braeburn lowered his head in shame. He couldn't believe that the reason he wouldn't do it was because of his insecurities with what everypony think. Little Strongheart saw this and she came closer and nuzzled his nose.

"I didn't know you felt like this... but I should have realized because I used to be in the same situation... I mean a buffalo dancing while wearing a dress and boots? I thought that it was humiliating... until I beared through it and I got the reins of Square Dancing... I loved dancing with you even though it was something that I am not used to. Please give my way of dancing a chance and who knows, maybe you will enjoy it like I did with you. Let me show you how I dance." Strongheart smiles hopefully.

Braeburn takes and deep breath. Then tackles her out of nowhere and kissed her on the nose.

"I will do it for you. I mean it wouldn't be fair if I didn't do it after what I put you through... but if you said you enjoyed my way of tradition then maybe I will enjoy your tradition. And even if I don't, I will be doing it with you." He smiled big and warmly at Little Strongheart before kissing her lips. Little Strongheart kisses back and then slowly breaks away.

"And that's all that matters," Little Strongheart blushes as she flips him on to his back and cuddles into him before kissing him, "Us being together forever."
