I am not a writing guru, I just wanted to take this name before anyone else could.

If there are writing gurus out there, please help.

New fics are to be placed in for initial inspection. It is not a thorough inspection, don't worry. This isn't EQD. Anything with decent grammar and readability will most likely make it through, regardless of story type.

The contests won't start until the group gains ten members and two fics that pass initial inspection.

Prereaders and editors, this is for you!

Being an Imperial Officer is a trying yet rewarding experience. It takes special kind of person to be an Imperial Officer. Upon graduation, you will receive an instant promotion to the rank of 'Contributor'! All cadets must pass a "Skill, Attitude, and Bias" Evaluation before being accepted. The SAB Eval is to ensure that our officers are something that this group and this fandom can be proud of!

Officers will assist me with initial inspections, helping choose winners for the contest (along with a democratic vote among the populace), managing the group and training the Brony fic writers of today and tomorrow!

SAB Evaluation

1. The cadet is knowledgeable and/or experience with the skills of prereading and editing. That they give effective tips, helpful constructive criticism, and do it all with the author's and reader's best interest at heart.

2. The cadet does not use cruel, excessive, or unnecessary tactics when carrying out their mission. Snide remarks, arrogance, or broadcasting hostile elitism is the quickest way for an officer to get stripped of his or her rank.

3. The cadet does not contain or is able to subdue personal biases based on: Genre, Concept, Ship, etc. and give untainted and fair reviews.

If an active duty officer is caught violating these rules, swift and reasonable punishment will be administered. Punishment to include: Verbal counseling, Week-long suspension, Loss of rank, deportation from group.

Any and all authors are encouraged to speak up if they feel they have been treated unfairly by an Imperial Officer or myself. (Yes, even your Commander is not above the law). This includes fellow officers as well. Investigations will be put into effect if needed and will only be valid with solid evidence.
