I'm a general? and forum admin!?! when did that happen? lol

very well then, I will do my best to honor the position

also the owner of the minecraft server we were intending to take over turned out to be a petulant child not worth the minimal effort it would take to conquer him. So my judgement was swift, and... effective.

Sad that it had to come to that, but necessary. No man should be dishonored in such a way. Great job General Thardoc, you have brought honor to the Battalion. :moustache:

Should your tests prove successful Commander, please notify me and our operatives can move some of them to the hearts of our enemies' lands, where they may wreak havoc on industry and production.

What men do you command, Fidelis?

Well while Pony Tech Industries run the test you can use these:pinkiehappy:

XV25 Stealth Suits - They use light-bending disruption technology embedded in their battlesuits to camouflage themselves. Additional cloaking fields deaden sound and shield them from heat detecting sensors, allowing them to penetrate deep into hostile regions before launching precisely timed ambushes

XV8 Battle Suits - These Battle Suits are extremely manoeuvrable, as it mounts repulsor jet engines that combines the functionality of a jet with antigravitic technology. Also they have the ability to carry multiple weapons and support systems which can easily be interchanged to get any job done.

Wraithlords - They are robotic combat walker or mecha that contains no living warrior; rather, it is merely a robotic shell, a repository of the animating soul of a dead warrior. Their seemingly delicate armour is nearly impossible to breach without the heaviest of military-grade weapons.

Ok when it said fleet commander I though it just meant sea vessels not also space vessels.

The XV25's and Wraithlords would fit our operations well. Send out the units you wish to be used to the coordinates I will send you in through an encrypted channel. Several of our operatives will establish contact with them and provide intel, assistance and guidance.

Space Fleet seems like the appropriate type. You should be able to hold off air forces from space easily enough, and you'd facilitate our airstrikes fairly well too.

Congratulations, commander of the space fleet. :moustache:

Sir! PSI at full charge! whenever you command, sir!

Why, of course not! Our naval fleet will besiege their ports, and make an act of presence. It is far more intimidating to see a fleet outside your window than not see it at all despite it being above your head.

You'll see combat, my friend.

Perhaps you'd like to be reassigned as commander of a different branch of our armed forces? Though I assure you, it is always preferable to hold control over the seas.

1022095 Brigadier General Guardian, reporting in! *salute*

The candle flickers, swaying the shadows in the spartan tent. Before 1022095 could finish a sigh, a clerk enters the tent and bows respectfully.

"That dossier you requested, sire." Iron Galley taps his oaken desk without looking at the clerk. The frumpish unicorn levitates the document in front of his king before scurrying out to attend to other duties. Iron Galley, wishing to get the task over with, unfurled the document and began to read.

Name: Doctor Edmund Sirus
Rank: Major
Race: Humanoid
Age: 32 (See Addendum S-1)
Height: 5' 10''
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Brown
Gear:
1x Standard light armor designed for speed and maneuverability
5x Sets of standard military all-terrain gear
1x Heavy Duty Elemental Gear
1x Labcoat
20x Fine balanced knives (See Addendum S-2)
1x Portable alchemy stand
1x Portable chemistry lab
1x Portable Surgical Set
1x Functional hive of [REDACTED]
Occupation: Microbiologist with a minor degree in genetic engineering, infectious diseases, radiology, pharmacology, pediatrics, anatomy, and physiology
Psych Profile: Doctor Sirus is meticulous, confident, and deceptively calm. While his apparent apathy raises eyebrows among his underlings and superiors, it would be foolish to underestimate his combative potential and lethality on those grounds. His calm emphasizes a clever mind and a sound strategist, crucial skills to outwit enemies. This apparent lack of empathy has given him a reputation of relatively poor bedside manner among adults, but he takes special care of children when he is in the hospital rather than the battlefield. When instructed to heal rather than kill, Sirus displays a tranquil yet fierce desire to save those in his charge. Sirus does not let his lack of emotion to impede him when emotions are a necessity. It is recommended he remains in strategic, combative, or humanitarian positions. Under no circumstance is he to be placed in any PR-related job.
History: Sirus first approached the Battalion on 04/12/10██ under the guise of a weary traveler. Lieutenant L████, suspicious of the newcomer due to his lab coat, questioned him on his intent, name, and destination. Sirus proceeded to give his name and professed that he was naught but a traveler and did not wish to take sides in the growing tension between General Iron Galley and the Royal Crown. Not satisfied, L████ asked for a profession, and Sirus replied he was a doctor. L████ takes note that Sirus emoted little during the entire conversation and showed apathy towards the threat of apprehension.

Deeming a test in order to erase any doubt, L████ brought Sirus to a patient and declared he would diagnose the patient. Sirus agreed and correctly diagnosed an advanced case of mandrake poisoning and [REDACTED].

Sirus was brought to the head of the base camp, Captain Hawk. After interrogation, Captain Hawk declared that he was not a threat or saboteur and was to be escorted out. At this point, Sirus expressed interest in the state of affairs between growing political tensions with Canterlot. After an outline of events, Sirus expressed interest in joining the Battalion. In need of proper medics and doctors, Hawk provisionally accepted him into his ranks. Sirus was promoted to Second Lieutenant and was to be observed for six months to ascertain the scope of his mettle and reliability both on the field and medical skills.

Addendum S-1
Doctor Sirus has displayed knowledge in areas of science that require time far beyond his declared physical age. While Doctor Sirus has displayed competency in his talents, the time it would take to learn such medicine would extend far beyond his physical age. Doctor Sirus has declared he would assist to the best of his abilities, as long as intelligence probes into his past are not performed.
~Captain Hawk, 33rd Airborne Division

Addendum S-2
Sirus has displayed an above average aptitude for physical combat with an emphasis in knife fighting. While his particular set of martial arts makes him ineffective against airborne and arcane threats, Sirus has displayed brutal efficiency on the battlefield, no doubt assisted by his knowledge of anatomy and physiology. This additional skill lends credence to the theory that Doctor Sirus may not be a human, and possible not mortal.
~Captain Hawk, 33rd Airborne Division

Addendum S-3
I cannot help but shake the feeling of insecurity around the Major. Even before he was promoted above me out of necessity for those skilled in medicine, there has always been an air of danger around the man. No, not threat, but there has always been the tension of a coiled spring around him, wound up and ready to release. He remains unemotive in most situations, rarely cracking a joke or smile. His eyes remain empty, devoid of any love, fear, or desire. I do not know why he was struck with the desire to join the Battalion, and we may never know; he seemed as if he was waiting on someone else to decide for him. Now we will never know with his self-imposed ban on his past. I do not fear he will turn on us in our righteous quest, but I fear a man with not only nothing to live for, but nothing to die for.
~Captain Hawk, 33rd Airborne Division

The pages in his grasp were folded once more and placed to the side of the desk. The king eyed them with a wary look, as if the paper itself would turn against him.

'Interesting credentials, although rather unusual...'

His mind traveled to the soldiers lost on the days before and the battles past, and his decision was made.

'We need more medics, and strange as he may be, the man can fight.'

The king sighed and stood up, having decided to let the matter rest for the night. In the morning he'd see that the major was assigned to a Brigadier General in one of the four armies and sent into action as soon as possible.

'Maybe the Royal Army... Our knights need the best care they can get. Will have to have him tried in a position of leadership as well, a doctor and a strategist would be a great aid to the cause...'

OOC: Welcome to the Battalion, doctor! :rainbowdetermined2:

The doctor is ready to serve. Just tell me when the Role Play is up.
