Background:

Tag is an interesting pony and he can't help but stand out in a crowd. Tag is one of the few natural albinos among the ponies, a pure white coat and a piercing red eyes. Nopony wants to say in breeding, but his is from a pure unicorn bloodline. He was born in Canterlot, but raised on the outer edges of vanhoover, but foals are fools everywhere. He's long since gotten over any stigma, and actually found ways to capitalize on it. Namely? The adaptability of his magic. Much like his coat, his magic lacks a lot of the normal defining characters that refines a pony's talent. Curious and driven, he studied a lot the magics of a lot of other races, from ponies to griffons to diamond dogs.

He eventually came across an old school of magic that split the teachings of magic based on an old understanding of the world and elemental principles, rather than the modern esoteric branches. Something clicked, and he earned his cutie mark; five pale coloured small diamonds arranged into a star over top a square set in a larger diamond. He was a late bloomer, quite literally the last colt in his school to gain their cutie mark, and only after he stumbled across an old zebra passage on the elements that comprise the world.

Even so, his magic has it's quirks. While he can switch between elements, his magic, normal white, tints and his mane gains hightlights of the same hue; red for fire, blue was water, green for air and yellow for earth. Even more so, since alot of his learning was from zebra writings, he makes horrible puns, even more when actively using his more complicated magic.

Since then, he's continued to feed his curiosity and thirst for new experiencies by traveling under the name of the manehattan grand library as one of their lore seekers. His last major journey was to Griffonstone in order to contribute to the reclaimation of the Library their and secure copies for Manehattan.

Personality:

He's a bit spotty. For one, he hates his punny tendency just as much as anypony else, but still can't help himself. Other wise he tends to be a bit self focused and self dependent, a hold over from his foalhood and the unfortunate fact that he was often excluded due not only to his appearance but prolonged blank flank nature. As a result, he also has a thick coat, finding it easy to ignore insults and such, though he's not above responding with, sometimes fumbling, wit. He doesn't always forgive quickly though. Not caring doesn't mean he doesn't find ways to retaliate.

Quirks:

His magic aura is white and remains that way for neutral spells, but tints to red, blue, green and yellow for elemental spells, his mane and tail gaining highlights of matching colours for the really high level or high powered ones.

He puns frequently, even more so when using his magic. Some are clever, others are just groan worthy.

He has maniac and/or spastic moments, either triggered by extreme boredom or excitement.

His albinoism often turns heads. Red eyes and pure white coat and mane aren't exactly standard. Even his cutie mark is sparse on colours with the small diamonds being faint shades and the larger squares in grey.

He classes his spells as 'Plain' and 'Elemental'. Plain spells as standard unicorn style and for him are always weaker than his elemental spells. Because of the way his magic works, he often has to restructure spells in order to use them to his full potential, remaking them to fit into his own system. As such, he often has notes handy to quickly translate and/or transcribe spells.

He is allergic to chocolate

Huh i find this kinda ironic mainly because my OC from a story that im making has that ability as well with his magic. You know mabye i should introduce my OC to this group when i get the chance.
