Celestia receives yet another letter from her faithful student, Twilight. Except this one doesn't include any lessons about friendship like she was expecting. Only drunk ramblings of a very intoxicated mare. May or not be truthful.
Trixie is on trial for crimes she committed during "Magic Duel." The pony media turns it into the trial of the century. At first, Trixie loves all the attention. But then she realizes she may be convicted in the court of public opinion.
While on a long car ride, Ben is stranded at a rest stop in the Kentucky area with no way back home. He finds that a legion of ponies are sent from Celestia with intentions to kill.
The mane six find a golden horseshoe which causes ponies who wear it to act like stereotyped, caricature versions of themselves. Hilarity ensues as the mane six and many other ponies find out what everypony else really thinks of them.
The Mane Six get teleported to Equestria by a crazy machine to Hero Factory. Ridiculousness and seriousness ensues, with the mares having to help Alpha Team with protecting the galaxy! (Some more than others.)
After finding a chess set in the library's storage closet, Twilight is eager to play a few games and turns to Applejack and Rainbow Dash. Teaching the two most competitive ponies in Ponyville a new game should be a snap, right? RIGHT?!
