I've put a lot of work into this, my first ever written fiction of any kind--an all-over-the-place slice-of-life with a couple crazy twists. It's meant as a tribute to Background Pony, which has the Mystery tag in EQD (that tag doesn't exist here). This story, I would think, should get the same tag for the same reason: the lives of the very characters the story focuses on is the mystery, and it takes almost the entire story for it to be unraveled. Some of the unknowns are very wild and arcane, while others are quite mundane and relatable to real life. It's not just about the perspective withholding information (though that is a key point as well).
