A few days ago, while talking climate change in Paris, in response to the shooting at the abortion clinic in Colorado, Obama made a comment about how mass shootings just don't happen in other countries, convienantly forgetting, ( or just deciding not to mention) the mass shooting in Paris that barely happened a month ago, or the Charlie Hedbo shooting earlier this year. I can't tell if this was stupid or deliberate, but either way it was downright offensive to those killed in those attacks, to pretend that they didn't happen. And he also forgot the mention the 2010 Cumbria shooting in England, the mass shooting at that youth camp in Norway, or the recent cafe siege in Sydney, all of which happened long after those countries implimented gun control. In other words, Obama, cut the crap. These tragedies are going to keep happening no matter what, unless you focus on their major causes (terrorism, mental illness), and not focus on laws that will just suppress the rights of law abiding citizens.

4891396 I don't really like Obama and, if he said exactly what you said he said, then he is obviously wrong. But it is undeniable that shootings happen less often in other countries, even when taking population into account.
