The Mastery Engine 13 members · 0 stories

The purpose of this group is to exercise the tenets of the Mastery Engine (aka. “Fail Faster”), which is to allow members to experience failure in a helpful and productive environment where they are free of the many negatives that arise from failing in a public space, and are only left with the positives of the learning experience.

The ultimate goal is to encourage members to improve their work through a system of peer review and discussion while also learning from any and all failures along the way. Writers who feel they have only experienced success will learn to embrace inevitable failure, thus allowing them to handle disappointment with the necessary grace to continue working without locking up or losing heart.

This group is neither a PR group, nor a group of reviewers and editors. It is solely for the development of ideas in an environment that encourages discussion and development while accepting failure as part of the creative process. Keep in mind that failure isn't the end of a project, but another chance to re-evaluate the current road taken to reach your ultimate goal.
