Well I'd recommend the oldest stories first and work towards the more recent ones in their chronological order. While most are canon to The Revenge of Nightmare Moon, it itself is a reboot of The Nightmare's Return.

Is there, by chance, a recommended reading order? Or a list of which stories are canon to which?
