And have you considered just making your MLP/TFH crossover story an alternate universe piece? At least that way, you aren't dependent on the story mode being finished and have more freedom to do the story your own way.

Finally! Now they can start working on Chapter 2. I honestly expected the goat character to come out maybe next year but I’m so glad it’s coming sooner.

I already love her so much. I can't wait to see gameplay and hear her voice lines. Once I know her personality, I might try to write something with her.
