King Sombra is taller in the Season 5 finale then in the Season 3 Premiere.
So my question is why? It can't an animation error because this is also the same episode we find out he has no cutie mark.

Could be because he's more powerful. Nothing stopping him from coming back at one hundred percent Sombra-ness

4930448 I don't think it's because he's taller, but really the castle and balcony has had a redesign.
The castle is purple rather than blue and is less smooth and ridged. The balcony is now crystal rather than gold so the guard rails could be shorter (maybe because he likes to be edgy) (let me do this for you
)
I like to also note that the gold guard rails have hearts in them, showing Empire before he took over, so he influenced the castle to his fancy.
