this is the first product review in this group and its a nice one!

i got a request to do a side by side comparison of Nvidia's Best gpu's ever.

The Nvidia GeForce gtx 980 vs the Nvidia GeForce 1080

First, The looks.

i always liked the reference cooler looks of Nvidia cards but the gtx 1080 looks cooler then ever! (you get the cooler joke? )

and here is the gtx 980:

i personally think the gtx 1080 looks super badass!

Lets take a look at the specs:
The new 1080 is a lot faster then the 980. some benchmarks show almost double the performance of the 980 when testing the 1080!

here is a picture Nvidia showed us during the release of the 1080:

Double the performance of a Titan X!!!

here is a benchmark of a 1080 vs a 980ti in a gta 5 ultra benchmark.

here we can see that the 1080 is ahead by almost 20% against an overclocked 980ti

in this benchmark we can see the real performance gain of the gtx1080.

here we can see that the 1080 almost has a 50% higher result in direct x 12 games like the rise of the tomb raider.

Lets look at the pricetag now.
the 1080 is being sold for a nice price of 699,99 dollars at ncix (which is a good company)
