Sunset shows up during the great war, and I think she has a few appearances in some fics, but I don't think any of them focus on eqg in general.
I just checked. There isn't an "Equestria At War" tag. So, all I can suggest is scan all the Equestria Girls stories for the last month or so.
You might try asking in the Equestria Girls groups
I doubt it, id ask in the fanfic section for the eaw discord though
