So I got a wild itch to re-read an old from a long while back.

It was a HiE crossover, and if I recall correctly he crash landed with almost nothing (as ya do) and had to build up. He has some implants or something that essentially give him the full tech tree unlocked from the get-go, but has to bootstrap up the manufacturing capability manually. It takes until the royal guard show up in armor for him to figure out the natives aren't essentially feral.

I might be conflating two different stories, but I'm fairly sure that at some point it leaves the factorio trail and he winds up fighting primordial space gods because they want to destroy the planet or something insane like that.

Ring any bells for anyone?
