Cuphead, Mugman, Chalice, Petrie, Clank, Kit, Pecker and Birdie have become egrets. Zig, Zag, Revali, Tulin, Tiff, Tuff, Velma and Coco have become eagles.Wario, Obelix, King Dedede and Scooby Doo have become warthogs. Waluigi, Asterix, Escargoon and Shaggy have become meetkats. Merlin, Getafix and Avina have become mandrills. Fugitoid, Samos and Ronald McDonald have become hornbills, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Daruk and Yunobo have become elephants. Jiminy has become a flea. Henry, Crab Tuesday, Tinker Bell, Iridessa, Fawn, Rosetta, Silvermist, Vidia Periwinkle, Terence and Hamburglar have become galagos. Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Clayface, King Shark and Littlefoot have become giraffes. Urbosa, Riju, Captain Qwark, Jak and Keira have become antelopes. Toad, Toadette, Toadsworth, Kirby and Meta Knight have become chameleons. Mipha, Sidon, Ducky, Dr. Nefarious, Fred and Daphne have become zebras. Ayla, Murray, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Cera, Sig and Ashelin have become rhinos. Guru, Diddy Kong, Bowser Junior, Chomper, Genie and Eden have become oxpeckers. Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, Bentley and Dr. Eggman have become tortoises. Penelope, Sage, Orbot, Cubot and Iago have become african firefinches Dimitri and Ruby have become monitor lizards. Lil Spike, Tom, Jerry, Blaze and Dogmatix have become hyraxes. And Yoshi, Daxter and Tess have become aardvarks. everyone gets a chance to admire their new look.)

(Dedede yawns and walks toward a tree, only to be stopped by a finger pushing against his nose.

Rafiki: And where are you going?

King Dedede: Well, I was going to sleep.

(Dedede soon finds himself face to face with an elderly, slender mandrill. He is shown to be greying and walks with a staff for a cane. He is shown to have a bent tail, is half bald with a white beard, and yellow eyes black pupils. His face is shown as pale blue with a bright red nose showing.

Rafiki: Ha! That's what you think.

(Rafiki ducks back into the grass. Dedede bends down to look for him. The grass stalks wave behind Kovu as Rafiki races away. everyone watches him go. Dedede looks over one shoulder.)

Casey: Who was that?

Riju: Must be one of the locals.

(Everyone turns to see Rafiki lounging on Sunset's back and playing with her tail before jumping off.)

Rafiki: Come on! You follow old Rafiki] he knows the way!

Mario: Way to where?

(Rafiki stands on a tall tree above our heroes.)
