Its a question I've been wondering about for a while. I have an OC based in a world of modern day just like humanity. He was once an Alicorn but lost his wings during a great fight and his brother lost his horn. The story is mainly about my OC being summoned to equestria to kill the main six.

I dunno, Think about how a human loses a limb sense wings and horns are close to that.

While that is similar you also need to take into account that humans mainly call them humans they dont judge them based on their losses. Where as in Equestria an Alicorn that losses his wings yet keeps his horn may look like a unicorn but is he really. The same question could be asked in reverse.
