I feel that ponies are allows the creatures from Equus that get thrown onto Earth, but why? There are so many unexplored cultures that could be created through head cannon and then placed on Earth to interact with humankind. Off the top of my head: minotaurs, breezies, and diamond dogs.

I personally think that having a single Breezie arrive on Earth could be quite an interesting story, so long as the Breezies culture is formulated by the author beforehand.
