A warm welcome to all new readers of Unleash the Magic - Nightmare Night! Thank you very much for the likes and watches. The story featured for nearly a day and a half but hasn’t quite pulled itself over the century mark for total likes yet. Nevertheless, I’m pleased with the reception, and have plenty more planned. Things are just getting started with the end of part 4, and no member of Mane 6 will escape. Will Spike, Starlight and Trixie fall prey as well? Stay tuned!
First off, I've got dozens upon dozens of ideas rushing through my head. Problem is, most of the major potential money makers require a somewhat capable or competent team. Case and Point, I've come up with ideas for both a CCG and and MMORPG, the latter of which has been looked over a bit by Foxhlelm, but all in all I will still need a small team for production and maybe distribution. If anyone is interested in helping me with either
Another two to four days and I can write the third draft before starting the artwork.
Well, I've officially reached the point of the final draft where Harmonic and Atmospheric are permanently tied to Emily's spears as plush toys. Bronycon may be ending, but the pony throwdown is just beginning.
EVIL WILL FEAR THE PONIES!
This week, we return to the Berrow catalogue and Dash’s turn in the spotlight. She’s been comparatively patient, but she also didn’t have a choice in the matter. Let’s see what this entails.
Strictly speaking, the Daring Do trilogy came out before this, but I’d like to close out the Mane Six’s novels before moving on to Yearling’s semi-defictionalized adventures. So, let’s see how Fluttershy rounds out this part of the Berrow canon.
I am really pleased and impressed by the paperback release of Jake and the Dynamo. As you can see here, Lee Madison’s cover art transferred beautifully.
This week, we return to the Berrow catalogue. While the previous entry offers the closest thing we have to Cadence’s canonical backstory, this one has actually been referenced in the show. Ponypalooza’s mentioned in “The Mane Attraction,” among other details. Let’s begin.
Well, the Equestrian Department of Plausible Deniability got back to me, and I’ve been cleared to release the following classified information on the condition that it not be disseminated to any ponies of interest. I think we’ll be able to handle that much.
BEST. FRIDAY. EVER.
1) because tomorrow is the first Saturday in forever that my husband will be off.
2) because today I reserved a hotel room for Babscon, thus reducing tons of anxiety I was having about driving there and back.
3) because I finished Chapter 15 of What They Expect to Give and I even started Chapter 16.
Wow, haven't been on here for a while! So as the title suggests, yes; I'm saving Immortality for a different time.
Will it ever release?
Yes, I am planning to release Immortality sometime in 2017, just not now.
Why'd you delay it?
After teasing the fiction for so long, I really wanted this Fall release to be something incredibly special; I wanted it to be the best work I'd ever written.
So... why'd you replace it?
It has now been almost six whole months since my last story went live, and nearly a year since my last blog post--in which I discussed what my next major project would be. By this time, I'll bet some of your are beginning to wonder what I'm up to, or if I'm up to anything at all, huh?
Well, I'm only on a hiatus from FIM Fic...
In real life, I'm completely rewriting Hail Mary into a standalone fiction novel. Crazy, huh? I'm about 8 chapters and 65,000 in after about two months. The original was written as a collaboration with Arby Works, and we had drawn out some new ideas before we started the rewrite, but recently we have gone through some creative differences, so I decided to strike out on my own for this project.
But it might just need to be edited.
We go from modernity to antiquity, closing out the Berrow Daring Do trilogy. Let’s see what’s in store for the brave explorer this time.
We return to the pony novels this week, and hopefully a better showing from the titular mare. Last time we saw Trixie in one of these, G. M. Berrow was channeling the fandom circa 2011 and making her and Gilda the designated antagonists of the piece. Let’s see what she’s up to this time.
Hey guys, just checking out the site since I was last on, and wow, looks like there have been a lot of changes.
Music!
The Sword of Promised Victory, Fate/Zero rendition by Kajiura Yuki; originating from the Fate/stay night visual novel, where it was composed by NUMBER201.
Guys! I wrote a novel! :O
I know this is FiMfiction and there are novel writers everywhere, but it's downright strange to have an actual novel under my belt. So what did I actually learn from this once-in-a-lifetime experience?
