Come learn what The Empress has in mind for the future of the YouTube channel.
Hello all. Today marks the beginning of the Stretch for Time Fortnight my rambling about the short lead-up animations for the movies, a welcome change in terms of ease of viewing. After all, Hasbro put these on their own YouTube channel. I’ve provided links, since odds are these are far from fresh in anyone’s memory.
You’d probably think I can’t get much out of shorts that aren’t even three minutes long each. You would be wrong.
Alright, so for the past two maybe three weeks I've been working on the first draft of an assignment that's worth 95% of my grade for one of classes. I just handed it in today to my professor and boy am I mentally drained right now.
So why am I telling you this?
I've been in school since the second week of July. Today my finals finally wrapped up and I again have free time. Let me say, it feels good to have feel time time again! Also, I just saw the new Star Wars today. Loved it.
So yeah.
I can get back to work on To Be Happy. I've had to put work on that on the back burner for the past two months as my university workload increased.
In a now two part video, I take a look at all the shorts leading up to both Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games. How do the first round of pony girls shorts hold up after all this time? Click the video and find out!
Okay, so just a small blog for this, I've only wanted to check in on ya readers, seeing how you were all doing.
How are you enjoying the story so far? Any issues with it that you'd like me to keep in mind? And do any of you got any predictions or ideas?
Feel free to reply below!
Okay, I want to relay some important information right now and I need all of you to listen up.
I'm back to school, but exams are gonna be on their way and I am unsure as to how my state is gonna be for the time. I will write during my break times or whenever I can catch a break cause I still want to give you guys some good content, but there's no saying how much I'm gonna be able to do.
Bored in quarantine? Still amazed at the fact that Friendship is Magic is ten years old? Want to relive the show's best music, best villain and best redemption arc?
Well good news, Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks has been posted in full-length on the official MLP YouTube channel!
And now, FourShadow's Fact Corner...
1. I am in possession of my first Gobot! A friend of mine was buying vintage Star Wars toys and a Gobot got itself with the delivery. And since they knew that I am a Gobot fan... I now have my first one! This one is Street Heat!
It's been awhile since we talked about Flash. So has he finally found a purpose in his life? Well...in a way.
It's princess vs principal. Who is Best Celestia?
Happy Sunset Shimmer Day everypony! Here's a little PMV I threw together showing how she's anything but ordinary.
Well in the second part of my now three part look at the EQG movies I take a look at Rainbow Rocks and give my thoughts and opinions on it. If you're interested check out the video below!
Meant to review this for a while, and with the Friendship Games next week, seems a good time. I pirated it, I admit this. Hey, don't look at me that way. On the one hand I often buy movies I pirated originally, just to actually own the DVD. On the other hand, if I borrowed it from the library to read and then return, is that theft? How about if I delete the .pdf after I'm done? Really the internet is redefining how piracy and intellectual property work, but that's a debate for another time. For
In the lead-up to Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks, Hasbro released some promotional music videos. Some of the songs were really catchy, and I listened to them multiple times. One song was titled "Friendship Through The Ages." During this song, there is a scene where it starts black and then the faces of the mane six characters fade-in and appear. They do this one at a time, as each one sings her part.
It starts like this:
Friendship is Magic, a show made for kids, made me a fan of these lovable pastel characters that we all know and love.
What solidified my love for them was a human world spin-off made for teenagers.
"Sorry it had to be this way, Princess!" - Sunset to Princess Twilight Sparkle
Apparently, Equestria Girls the movie (and thus, the show in general) is 10 years old this year!
I like Equestria Girls. Rainbow Rock's was awesome, and the first movie was okay. The last movie, however, wasn't very good. And I think I know why.
First a mini review of Friendship Games:
