Tempo Boost Story Poll #5 (April 2023) · 8:08pm Apr 5th, 2023
I'm sorry the poll is a little late this month, I am sick at the moment, but it needs to go live eventually, so it's voting time on my Patreon account!
I'm sorry the poll is a little late this month, I am sick at the moment, but it needs to go live eventually, so it's voting time on my Patreon account!
It's time for another Tempo Boost Story Poll on Patreon! Once more, you can vote for one of my currently incomplete multi-chapter stories, which then gets an extra update before the end of the month.
This will be an update in addition to the chapters I am already writing and releasing, completely chosen by you!
Here's how it works:
The Tempo Boost Story Poll makes a return! Last month's poll had to be sacrificed to health issues and this month's also has to happen a little late, but I spent my Patreon income for November, so I will of course deliver the poll and, if there are any votes, the chapter for the winning story. And, hey, at least the number is aligned with the month now! The Tempo Boost Story Polls are finally back on my Patreon
I'm coming out of a few, tough weeks, as I have been affected by a certain case of cancel culture that has happened in the fandom. This month's Tempo Boost Story Poll happens late because of that, but the poll and the number of days to participate remains the same. I'll have to crunch to get the winning chapter out at the end of the month, but nothing changes for you if you vote.
My aforementioned tooth problems have delayed this a little, but here is now the new Tempo Boost Story Poll on my Patreon! Like in previous months, you can vote for one of my multi-chapter stories to receive an update before the month's end.
Here's how it works:
A blog entry like this is almost obsolete this year, but for the sake of completion and consistency, here's an obligatory blog entry with my writing plans for 2023.
There is a popular theory about Generation 5 going through the fandom right now, because of the Elements of Harmony merchandise that Sunny has in her bedroom. Namely that everything we have seen in Generation 4 never actually happened and is all just a TV show (or, alternatively, book) that exists in the world of Generation 5. This theory originated, probably independently, both in a comment on Equestria Daily and on Discord/Twitter:

Here is Part 2 of my analysis of the Generation 5 Movie synopsis. I've split this off from my original analysis to reduce the length of the blog entries and to give both parts more exposure.
Following up on my analysis of the Hasbro Investor Event 2021 and Part One and
After I made those last three crossover videos not too long ago, I frequently brainstormed what I wanted to have MLP (G5) crossover with next. As I carefully considered the options, it occurred to me that a video showing the Main 5 getting scared by a compsognathus from the "Jurassic" franchise would be an awesome thing to create, and it seemed like it'd be really fun too. So, I used a clip featuring a compsognathus from "Jurassic Park: The Lost World" and mixed it in with moments of the Main 5
Izzy: “Yeah, this is fine. It's fine! Not like Sunny's creepy smile and Zipp's averted gaze could possibly be an indication all is not sunny – nailed it – with this special. Right?
“…Right?”
Zipp: "That better not be your attempts to provide non-verbal summaries of your reactions to our new webseries. So help me, if it's a joke…"
Since we learned about Sunny's and Izzy's full names, I am noticing a connection between them. Both of their names refer to celestial bodies, "Sunny" and "Starscout" to the sun and "Moonbow" to the moon. That connection made me curious and I wondered what that means and if the two of them might be related (especially considering how Izzy's name doesn't seem to refer to her special talent, which I predict is
A couple weeks ago, Hasbro's investor event happened and it's high time to look into it in more detail and to write about it! There was surprisingly little information about Generation 5 during the event's livestream, but a few interesting observations could still be made.
