Good news! I've finally finished writing Chapter 7 of Synchrony, meaning I'll be able to post chapter 6 on Saturday. Rejoice!
Good news, everyone! I finished writing the second chapter of Synchrony last night, and since the editing of the first chapter is complete (thanks Applety!) all it needs are the final few visual touches before I can release it.
Expect the first chapter of Synchrony to go live sometime tomorrow. I hope you're all looking forward to it!
I got another 1,176 words done today! A pretty good job, I think - finished the section that wasn't completed yesterday, two others, and got a good chunk done for a fourth! I should be done with this chapter of Synchrony within the next few days, definitely, which means it won't be too long before I'm working on Sunset again.
Chapter 16 of Synchrony now sits at 2,505 words.
Finished writing the first chapter of Synchrony tonight! Well, the first draft at least. It’s still gonna need some time and editing (possibly even from a proper editor and not just myself!) before it debuts, though. Gotta make sure the feel of the finished product is just right!
Happy Halloween! I did absolutely nothing for it, and spent most of the day either a) having a talk with my parents that led to them scheduling a dentist's appointment for my uninsured, unemployed butt; and b) playing a certain something that was dropped by Toby Fox today.
After getting some feedback from Czar_Yoshi, I decided to edit Synchrony's long description to be more descriptive and reflective of what the story is about, and what new readers should expect from it. Hopefully it is enough to entice more people to start reading it.
Hi all! I hope everyone has been doing well. Just wanted to let you all know that I've finally begun work on the next Synchrony chapter; those familiar with my usual writing rotation will know that once it's finished, I'll be working on a chapter of Sunset in Ponyville next. I haven't written much so far, and my writing speed is still not up to what I'd like it to be, but the chapter is set to be a relatively short one so hopefully I'll have it finished in January.
Well, I got another 1,154 words written today! Not bad, not bad - it puts the chapter at 6,435 total, and I'm still unsure of when it'll end.
More importantly, I posted chapter 11 of Synchrony today! So be sure to go check it out.
Well, I managed to scrape by with 1,021 words today. About halfway through I had a minor crisis upon realizing that what I was doing with the chapter really wasn't what I had originally intended for it some months ago. But I'm not really the type to just abandon a chapter after all the work I've put into it, so I just spent a few minutes organizing my thoughts and choosing a new approach that would still get me where I want to go. I'm... admittedly still uncertain how it will stand up, in the
It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, twenty days anyway. But I've reached a point where I'm ready to let you all know how things are going on my end.
Hey all! Just wanted to let everyone know that, right on schedule, I've released another chapter of Synchrony! Make sure to check it out if you haven't already. Only two more chapters left in reserve - I'm gonna have to start working on the story again pretty soon!
It's coming. Soon. Very soon. I've finished writing the three new chapters of Time Goes On, given them my initial edit, and uploaded them to the site. Later today (it's past 1 AM as I write this) I'll go through the story as a whole and giving it another round of personal polish, both to get the new material in line with the old and to at least attempt to fix some of the flaws in my writing I've become more aware of recently. I don't know how much I'll succeed, but I'll do my
I am happy to announce that I've finally finished writing chapter 4 of Synchrony! And since Applety has already approved of chapter 3, I will be ready to post it tomorrow afternoon.
Look forward to it! It's full of Rarijack fun
Well. After about a month, but I finally managed to finish the chapter of my non-pony fic last night. The reason it took so long is partly due to divided attention, partly due to something akin to writer's block, and mostly due to it just being incredibly long - so long, in fact, that I probably should have split it up into two, and likely will if/when I ever actually publish it anywhere.
Chapter 17 of Synchrony is finished, coming in at 5,019 words. In the coming days, I'll send it to AlexTFish for editing, but of course will not post it until I've completed the whole next round of chapters.
Next on my writing list is Chapter 12 of Sunset in Ponyville, which I will begin either tomorrow or the day after, depending on what I have the energy for. That is all.
