Just thought I'd provide a signal boost to Fervidor's new story, Familiarity.
I'm tagging this with Just Winging It, since there are some elements in common, and I think people that like it might also like Familiarity, from what I've read so far.
Full disclosure: I helped Fervidor work out a few issues by pm on this story. Also, it has influences from Howl's Moving Castle, which was a great book.
I am a brony, well, used to be (kinda). I had a falling out with the fandom some time ago. I got caught up with "real life" and the creativity just kinda ceased. With the recent passing of one of my closest friends, I am mentally and emotionally exhausted. I am an emotional wreck and I mistreat myself to deal with the pain that I feel. I have moved back in with one of my parents, out of a desire for familiarity and safety. And with that, I have found myself doing some of the things I haven't
Okay, all the praise to these two stories by GaPJaxie. Just... read Familiar first.
Oh, and don’t worry about the sex tag, it’s there because of strictly teen-rating stuff. You know, kissing and admitting to having done it, but nothing on the explicit side.
As promised, it's out the door and ready for your viewing pleasure! (With some - heh - familiar faced along for the ride...) It's "Passing Familiarity," Chapter 3:
Well, somehow, I managed to write a shortfic just before the end of 2022. This story is...
I wrote it as a part of the Candelit Story Vigil for Ninjadeadbeard, who passed away recently. I'm hoping that all of you will enjoy the story and that you might even consider contributing to the vigil.
...And the final ending, Ending C, will be uploaded tomorrow, concluding the story. Thank you all for your support during the publication, and I hope you will enjoy the multiple endings. I've been loving your comments, and I'm eager to see how the completed story is received.
I've got a feeling that you'll appreciate today's story.
A Familiar Feeling

Hello, everyone! This is just a quick post to say that I'm sorry for taking a little sabbatical after Passing Familiarity, but I think I'm getting back into the groove and there should be some more stuff coming soon, including some blog posts and the continuation of "Reaping Rainbow: A Very Grim Hearth's Warming." And for those of you who were hoping for more canonical Turing Test, I've got some ideas brewing for her too. See you soon!
Quick note here: "Passing Familiarity" will premier this afternoon. Just so you all know, it will be serialized, because I know many people get intimidated when they have a lot to read at once. But, as a compromise, I'll be putting chapter 1 out today and chapter 2 out tomorrow. More will follow next week. I know a few of you would rather read the whole shebang, but based on experience, I think this is the best way to go. I really hope you all will enjoy it.
As promised yesterday, the next chapter of Passing Familiarity is now up! Also, as a note, if some of you would be so kind, I'd love to see more comments so I can get some feedback on how the story is going so far. And, if you're enjoying the story, consider giving it a like (although if you wish to wait to see how it is as a whole, I totally get it; I'm just trying to counteract the few folks who

Back in 2015, GaPJaxie reviewed my robot story. Now I’m about to return the favor. Today I review...
A while ago, Fimfic user Oroboro—the one person whose description I had to edit in the Bronycon blogs, since my editors told me that I came off as Too Horny—hosted the third Sunset Shimmer contest in this very website. It was quite an event, and I wasn’t part of the judging panel, because Oroboro told me I came off as Too Horny (and then winked at me). I’m telling you about this because—listen.
