It's not about anything to important. It's just... Well it's night where I am and I happen to have a great view of the moon. However I have this irrational and overpowering fear of looking into a mirror and seeing myself either mutilated or as a something else looking back. And for windows it's just seeing some figure with murderous intent.

Because it makes super easy for power abusers to rationalize their way into effectively annihilating/abandoning/not caring about individuals and groups they consider 'not useful'. Yes, 'real' rationalists supposed to know this is big Error - but when such thing as unenforceable logic error stopped any of such people? And twisting moral rules into whatever mess serves them is way too well known game to ignore ....

I'm no fan of Harry Potter, since I know nothing of the works, be they the books or the movies, but I'll stand with J.K. Rowling.
