I put a lot of work into Verve. I have 92 total chapters. But at this point, I'm not writing anymore. I'm going to finish the last bit of editing, let the story end on chapter 92 - and that'll simply be the ending.

And I'm still not finished. I did the estimation, and the story could very well break 85-90 chapters baseline (5k words a chapter average) with 10 epilogue chapters. Tons of plot bouncing, talking, small rewrites, a few dumped chapters (a *few, like... 5) and work keeping me slow, otherwise I'd be done by now. Out of these 40 days (I think it's closer to 38 days), I've spent maybe 2-5 days with less than one chapter's progress each.
I'm less than happy to admit that the story is finally over. There's nowhere else to go. The final chapter, no longer left to the stars - but here, uploaded, written, softly edited, and complete with fitting music and pictures of Vee.
I'm sorry it took so long. I always get this... severe melancholy, as a story comes to an end. I hate it when it happens; it hurts my soul, it really does.
Heya! I had some trouble with my last editor. Strictly speaking, they weren't able to provide constructive criticism and instead antagonized me over a minor detail regarding the construction of a dam in the story. I'm not joking. I spent over an hour trying to assert, with facts, historical accounts, engineering knowledge, and actual Earth Pony lore, that a dam could possibly break under record rains due to improper construction without advanced architectural knowledge and safety foresight,
