So, yes, I’m working on chapter five for all of you. I’ve got about 3.6k words written, shooting for that 6k average I’ve been pulling. I sit down to work on the next scene, I totally know what it is, and I realize that, having edited the previous chapters, and pulled two chapters, I don’t remember what’s still in the story. That and the fact I wrote this a few years ago...

So, here I am, getting ready to sit down and read my story. Yay!

Life is a little crazy right now, so I can't write as much as I would like to. Also, for the time being, I'm going to write what comes to me. I've been looking over my plans for this story a lot as of late. I've thought long and hard about where the story is going, where it will end and how I'm getting it there. And I've realized something.

This is going to be long.
Like, really long.
At least twice as long as the original long.
Pushing 100k words, if not more, long.
Like this is going to be at least a three act story, and we're not even done with act one yet.

So, I'm currently working on the next chapter. It's sitting at 5000 words, and I still have more to cover. And then edit. And then more edits. Followed by some more writing as I realize I forgot something important.

All in all, I'm hoping it'll only take another week. Maybe. I'm not really sure.

So, for a while now this site has had that 'Popular Stories' section. For even longer it's had the featured box. Now, the first version of Stargazing reached The Box by like chapter 7 or 8. I was ecstatic. I then returned there with almost every single chapter update.

I don't know if I've done that with the new version. I don't think I've even made it to the 'Popular Stories' area. Though maybe I have, and just missed it. Oh well.
