YET ANOTHER reminder about bookshelves you should REALLY keep to yourselves. (Also, a reminder about the Tomodachi hiatus) · 8:35pm Jul 8th, 2016

So, based on what I've seen show up on the TV Tropes page, people still don't get what Rainbow's weapon is supposed to be, and assume it's a jousting lance.
I've tried to correct this notion in the past...unsuccessfully, which is largely my fault. So I'm going to make another attempt to get all my readers on the same page here.
Rainbow Dash's weapon is not a jousting lance. It's a polearm weapon that's constructed in a similar manner to this:
For the first time ever (to my knowledge), one of my stories has a TV Tropes page!
Check it out here.
Needs love, obviously. I made a few edits to it this morning but was too busy to really flesh it out; also, it's a bad idea in general for me to be editing it since I know too much about stuff that isn't revealed yet...
A new chapter of Tomodachi wa Mahoushoujo will be posted either this evening or tomorrow.
The first arc, Magic, will end this month.
By way of apology for all the delays that have held up this story, I'm giving my readers a teaser for the second arc, Loyalty, which will begin in January:
"Are you sure it's in there?"
"Positive."
I've had a couple questions about this, and I realize that the weapon I gave Rainbow in the story is a little difficult to visualize, so I created a mock-up of it.
Now, the perspective and scale here are bad. I'll freely admit that. I am NOT an artist. But hopefully, this plus the written description of the weapon will give you an idea:
Hello, readers of Tomodachi wa Mahoushoujo!
I haven't actually had any complaints about this, but I wanted to address the matter of the chapter titles.
The chapter titles are in katakana as a stylistic choice. Believe it or not, the chapter titles aren't actually Japanese. They're all English words (more or less), just transliterated as they'd be written in Japanese.
