Holy frig. This chapter is way longer than I expected it to be. Why is this chapter so hard to write. Why do I have to resolve so many plot points while setting up even more new ones. How many plot points do I have. How much do I have left to write. Why did I write this fic. Why are all the things happening.

Should I just go "f*** it all" and split this chapter in half and post the first half?

They are now all first-person past-tense with no italicized internal dialogue (unless the character is actually having a conversation with themselves), and several minor errors corrected. Please let me know if you see anything amiss.

I know I'm churning out chapters really slowly, and I'm sorry to everyone who's been reading along. Lately it's just been getting harder to write.
