Autumn Blaze never found the cure for the Stream of Silence.

Third place winner at the Iron Author Speedwriting Contest at Everfree Northwest 2022. Contestants must write a full pony story within 2 hours, based on a surprise prompt. This is my story as written for the contest, with minor edits. Additional edits may be made once I have received feedback from the judges.

Autumn Blaze will do whatever it takes to win Applejack’s heart. Unfortunately, she’s not alone: Ponyville is filled with others determined to do the same, with no trick too low in the pursuit of victory.

But when a new contender arrives to claim Applejack as her own, can Autumn and her rivals band together and save Equestria? Or is Autumn destined to lose Applejack to a mare who doesn’t love her half as much as she deserves?

When Sweetie Belle is responsible for watching Carousel Boutique, a kirin comes in for a haircut. The customer is always right.

Pinkie Pie has always been different from the village. While her family accepts her the rest don't. Though someone from outside the village does.

The Dazzlings are old. Really old. It's very likely they've gone on many adventures and done many different things in their thousand-years trapped in the human world.

For Aria, a family might well be one of them.

Autumn Blaze is annoyed by the actions of the Pie family trying to get her to agree to marry Marble Pie because some pairing stone said they should get married. She goes out to the fields to blow off steam like kirin have started to do to manage their anger, but she gets interrupted.

Loquaciously prolix Autumn Blaze hires terse Bulk Biceps as a parsimonious expert who can efficiently orient the isolated kirin on Equestria's history.

It was forbidden.^{(From the contest rules related to word count: "...please don't write an entire encyclopedia on the comprehensive history of Equestria, featuring Autumn Blaze and Bulk Biceps.")} Yet, it must be told.
