On Hearth's Warming Day, Tartarus is not a fun place to be. Holiday joy does not permeate Equestria's most notorious prison. The same drudgery and boredom that plagues its inmates every other day of the year doesn't let up for Hearth's Warming.

Cozy Glow, one of Tartarus's occupants, expected the day to be spent plotting her escape and ascension to Equestria's throne with her 'friend' Lord Tirek. It's how every other day since her arrival has played out, so why not today?

Instead, a mysterious unicorn with a broken horn appears from nowhere. She's here to take Cozy Glow on holiday parole, for a 'proper' Hearth's Warming celebration.

But neither Cozy nor her custodian are what they seem.

Several days have passed since Princess Twilight Sparkle has moved the statue of the three villains to the deepest depths of her basement.

But something is wrong, things are starting to levitate, explode, and even combust, all in the vicinity of the statue.

To find a stop to the issue, Twilight enlists the help of her... Acquaintance, Discord.

It is his job to travel into the statue and figure out what is happening.

"Discord! Listen to this hypothetical, and tell me how this somehow proves me wrong!"

As Twilight Sparkle about to be crowned ruler of Equestria, the Dark Knight called Blazin’ Rage arrives uninvited and attacked the ponies. Celestia, Luna, Cadance and Twilight tried to stop him, but he able to drain half of their alicorn powers and tear Twilight’s wings in front of everypony.

A week later after her recovery, Twilight had been drifting away from Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Rainbow Dash. Leaving Capper Dapperpaws, who witnessed what happened at the coronation, to look after her.

Celestia asked Discord to unleash the three villains out of their stones, Starswirl the Bearded could asked Lord Tirek to make contact with his younger brother to help and find Blazin’ Rage and soon discover that the Dark Knight was living outside of Equestria called Old Ponyvile.

Together, they’re off to the journey to restore the alicorn powers and maybe finds love along the way!

Spike Sparkle was just your average teenage kid. He went to school, hung out with his best friends Thorax and Ember, and kept up on his art hobby. Just because he wound up in Crystal Prep Academy's 'gifted and talented program' which included a full scholarship to cover all tuition expenses didn't mean he was anymore special than anyone else.

But after getting bitten by a rather strange spider, the entire trajectory of his life abruptly changes forever and the average Spike becomes nothing short of amazing. But is he up to the new responsibilities he now bears on his shoulders? Only time will tell.

For now? He's got a criminal kingpin to take down with the help of some new friends who have come from some pretty strange places.
