But what is it, and how did it get there? All is revealed when a bold treasure hunter show's up in Canterlot searching for some anchient relic, but who is this guy, and what is he really after?

Not everyone can be broken down into the simple formula of a "hater" as you would call them. People have their own reasons for disliking something, and no matter how much you may enjoy one thing, other people definitely will not share that exact opinion.
I could say fuck you too for instantly drawing the conclusion that people who are disliking something are immediately haters of it, and deserve to receive the level of aggression you show through your typing.

That was never a legitimate thing said in the show. It was a phrase started on /co/ on 4chan at the fandom's beginning. It essentially meant "don't feed the trolls, dumbass" but has evolved, through constant misuse, into a pseudo-motto for those in the fandom who try and often try and push it on to others. Just because i'm a brony doesn't instantly make me love everything as well, so take that into consideration when spouting it at every opportunity.
On top of that, the ponies in the show sure as hell don't "love and tolerate" as much as some of us may think. The changelings, Nightmare moon and discord, well... the ponies slapped their shit both literally and figuratively.

My use of it was less of an unwritten law and more of a "Chill out, they don't have to like it just because you do" statement. I appreciate you trying to add to a settled issue but in the future please refrain from "kicking dead horses". Did I use that term right? Anyway moving on, I don't like to block users to the point where they cannot access my work, whether they like them or not, but I can't stand when a comment section is full of arguments or material not related to the actual piece. Nothing personal but this will serve as a warning, you likely don't care but nonetheless I like to keep the comment area civil.
