So since it is still incomplete, are Twilight and Blueblood still gonna be shipped? I am kinda confused because of the latest chapter.
I hate to say it, but there's something not quite right with this chapter. It's just not emotional enough. BB goes from being pissed off to accepting in the space of about a minute, if that. In a story like this, a little more emotional conflict is expected. I expected at least two entire chapters deedicated to her attempts to win him back over, some less successful than others. What I found instead was a few paragraphs. It takes a lot longer to achieve the kind of character development needed to turn a snob into a gentleman, even if he wasn't always a snob. It's just not that easy to regain someone's trust, especially after that kind of betrayal. (Unless, of course, the injured party is Pinkie Pie
, but that's not the case)
That's not the only part that seemed rushed, but it's the most glaringly obvious one.

I agree I was not entirely happy with this chapter. Don't think Blueblood's gone and made a complete switch, in real life one can seem to make progress only to be back to their old self the next day. I think part of it is I have difficulting writing Blueblood, because as the best night ever showed he is not without appeal, yet at the same time is a snob making him very tough to write. I've got plans for the next chapter. Thank you for your critique.

I'm glad that Twilight and Blueblood are at least friends again. (They are friends again, right?) Hopefully the Prince will consider Twilight’s words and start trying to act better.
another good chapter, Celestia was done really well in this one. and the simplicity of her room was a very nice touch, it was probably my favorite detail. it also helped that i was listening to My Girls by Animal Collective when i read that part.
Blueblood was also good, and the explanation for his snobbery was pretty clever. but i think he may have forgiven Twilight to easily. then again he could just be a very emotional stallion who just wants one of his only real friends back.
i'm starting to ramble so lets just say, i am eager to read what happens next.
... All I can say is that I think this chapter is rushed like hell.

So, Twilight abandoned Blueblood to face Celestia's wrath alone, while he was showing Twilight how much he loved her. Now, I can see why he would never want to allow his heart to fall in love again.
I feel that Blueblood forgave Twilight to quickly. He has been an egotist for how long? Twilight should have had to do more to get Blueblood's forgiveness. Twilight should have had to show how sorry she was. Hell, I would have settled for Blueblood saying to Twilight in some form that 'actions speak louder than words.' The story can end right here, but it is up to the author whether or not that is the case.

This is an awesome backstory! It's sad but I can believe Twilight abandoning Blueblood like that. She idolizes Celestia to a ridiculous extreme.
It's part of my headcanon that Blueblood and Twilight knew each other as kids and were almost close friends, most of the feelings on Blueblood's part and Twilight being ignorant of everything outside of studying, but things happened and they drifted apart.
I look forward to reading more, when you decide to write. If not, great story nonetheless.
