So, instead of even making a few corrections (and thus making your story better) you released a sub-par product that doesn't get the amount of laughs it could have gotten and is riddled with grammar and structural issues.

What no. This went through several editors. The corrections proposed by the most recent of them would have required a full rewrite. I wasn't willing to do that.

As I highlighted in your google doc, there are areas that lack capitalization such as "spike" instead of "Spike." There's still a block between Twilight and the reader with the narrator telling us what she thinks rather than just showing her thoughts.
Example:
As narration, this sounds odd given it's a question, but who's asking it? The narrator or Twilight? Italicizing it and other similar instances would be a simple task.
It's a mute point though since instead of rewriting the story given what you've learned through the editorial process, you chose to fix minor issues while not addressing the major issues such as Twilight's characterization and sanity slippage throughout the story.
From experience, I know rewriting a story can be a large undertaking and there will be new problems to replace ones you correct, but it is better than publishing a weak draft that you admit to having issues with.
2828157 You must be star gazer. And I already told you, I don't have the chops to do what you're asking. It's not a matter of has chosen not to, so much as can't. Would you be happier if I chose not to publish this, and instead just destroyed the gdoc? Why? If some people can get some enjoyment out of this, why not show it to them?
As for remaining caps issue, I must have accidentally deleted a comment or two of yours, as I'm not seeing em. I can find those again on my own though so no big.
As for not taking your editorial advice, don't worry; I'll bare that advice in mind the next time I go to write a fic.

I agree. Sometimes we write not-so-good stories but publish them anyway because we enjoyed making them and someone else might enjoy reading them. While I am not sure what to think about it as a whole, there were good parts to it. "Letting your mane down" is a really good example of how something so small can really push her over the edge and I would recommend reading it because it is along the same lines as what you were doing here.
