Well written, and the first 3/4 of it were very fun, and pretty much a perfect cutie mark crusaders comic.
However, I felt that the ending was lackluster. The CMC coming back and Luna trying to persuade them to look for their cutie marks closer to home vanished and we got the sleepover instead. It feels unfinished and leaves a few questions unsatisfied.
Otherwise, excellent story.

Felt sorry for Luna, is this set before Luna Eclipsed (where she seemed more assertive and Pinkie Pie had fun making everypony scared of her) or was she just having a very bad day? I do agree with castaras that it felt unfinished. To me the first part of the story made it feel like there would be more adventures with the Cutie Mark Crusaders where they cheered Luna up and she convinced them rather than taking the other solution.
Or to put it another way I enjoyed the story so I wanted to read more of it… even if it would make little sense that Luna wouldn’t just take them back to the library as soon as possible.
