I must admit I'm not entirely sure what to make of this story. The idea had been kicking around in my head for a while so I thought try to get it down. It was really written for that last scene. Somehow the idea of Pinkie offering Death a cupcake just seemed so like her. Well, I enjoyed writing it and hopefully at least some of you enjoyed reading it.

Aww, this was beautiful. Same in death as she was in life, and I love how she can be so relaxed about it. If only we could learn not to fear death, live our lives more comfortably... knowing that death will come one day, and until then, every day should be lived to its' best.
After all, life's just one big party.

I-I-I *starts crying* you wrote like you have a brain. Like Pinkie has a brain. If somepony else attempted this, it'd be nothing. A grain of sand to this hourglass of beauty. It impresses me, how you made Pinkie sound smart, instead of like a partying fool. No one does that.

I read on the pony wiki that Pinkie Pie's Smile song is about how many years she has yet to party.
I was fine until that last line.
That last freaking line just pushed me over the edge. I'm crying so hard it's hard to type right now. I'm not even going to use emoticons because that would detract from the seriousness of what I'm saying. You, sir, have written a masterpiece. If the site ranked fiction by quality and not views, this would be right up there next to My Little Dashie. The buildup was perfect, the climax was great, and then there's that last fucking line that's making me bawl like a baby.

Fantastic buildup, the lingering sadness mixed with Pinkie's happy-go-lucky behaviour really got me. I couldn't help but smile. Being nice to death itself, befriending it... That is something only Pinkie Pie can do. Beautiful!

That truly was beautiful
you captured her character in a near-perfect manner, and the inclusion of the black pony, the ferrymare, made this stand out from other sad stories with this interesting concept

I tried reading, but it is so sad. I will try to finish later, but i dont want to cry at school, lol. I do like how it is written, the short sentences give a feeling of tiredness and drain, it is how someone dieing would talk.
It was a good story, but you killed Pinkie Pie! I love Pinkie Pie... ALIVE!

That was remarkably sweet. Well, bittersweet.
I think some hint as to why Pinkie is dying would make the story easier to suspend disbelief for. As it is it's just deus ex machina. (Well, thanatos ex machina.
) Context is always good.

I'm so glad I took a chance with this story. I don't usually like sad stories, but the final line is just...yeah. It's one of the best Crowning Moments of Funny/Awesome I've ever seen, and one of the best uses of the old fanon running gag. Well done! Have a cupcake.

The only thing I didn't like was the use of single quotes for speech, but that's just a personal quirk.

It was really bitter sweet, but I didn't cry to the very end. Pinky dying didn't seem so sad, the way you put it. It seemed happy
But I lost it at the very end, when she gave her the cupcake. I cried with joy, although I don't know why. I probably have the stupidest smile right now, after reading it.
I like to think that in Equestria, their might be a tiny but precious number of ponies who have the forethought and follow-through to thank the escort. Only one could actually give him anything more than words, but there would always be a few who would give her that much.
